Our College Ministry reaches out to the students at Northeast Mississippi Community College
as well as other college students. They have a weekly “homecooked” fellowship meal
following the Wednesday night Bible class, and often “tailgate” before home football games.
The College ministry is capably overseen by our College Minister, Beau Gross, who is assisted
by his wife, Allison and their amazing and talented team of volunteers, many who are
Northeast instructors and staff members. We have our annual Northeast Night on the third
Sunday night in August when all students, instructors and staff are invited to our Sunday
night worship and then served an outstanding fellowship meal. This special night serves to
introduce the Booneville Church of Christ to the Northeast family; we have had as many as
600 plus in attendance on this night. We, as a congregation, look forward to this annual
event. The goal of our College Ministry is show the love of Christ to young people who,
perhaps, have never been introduced to Jesus Christ, by feeding them spiritually as well as
physically.
